About

I’m a student at UNISA (the University of South Africa), studying first and second-level modules for a degree in (can you guess?) Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I started my BA in 2011-2012, but due to pesky “unforseeables” and a demanding career in politics, I’ve had a two-year break.

Returning with renewed vigour, I’ve created this blog as a virtual cork-board on which to pin articles, essays and entries stumbled upon in the ultimate quest for knowledge and (let’s face it) distinctive grades. I will be posting my own thoughts as the semester progresses, so it is worth noting that this is a personal blog and is not endorsed by UNISA or any other organisation.

The aim is to learn, to think critically and to try to apply what is being learnt to real-world situations. What good is an education in PPE not applied to contemporary, relevant issues?
